WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT
In the event of an accident please remember to do the following:

- Take photographs of the accident location before moving the vehicles
- Inform the Police if someone is injured or if the other driver does not stop to exchange details
- Note down the Police reference number if they attend the scene
- Obtain Time, date and place of the accident including road names
- Obtain other drivers name, address, telephone number and insurance details
- Other driver’s vehicle details including registration number, make, model and colour
- Details of any witnesses that may have seen the accident
Where possible take photographs of the accident location, showing the position of the vehicle, including the areas of damage to each vehicle and of their number plate.
Where the other driver fails to stop, note down their registration number and immediately report it to the police.
If you or your passengers are injured, please visit your GP or local hospital where medical professionals will treat the injuries.

Q. Does Dynamic Claims only deal with accident cases?
Yes. Dynamic Claims only handles compensation claims arising from accidents or negligence. All cases will be covered by the "No-win, No-fee" agreement.
Q. Who pays for the service you offer?
Legally you are entitled to the service we provide. All costs and outlay incurred during your claim will be charged to the other party or the other parties insurance company.
Q. How long will the claim take?
This will depend on the circumstances of your case. A straightforward road traffic accident can be settled within a month, whilst more serious injuries may take longer. Once we have carried out our initial investigations, we will be in a better position to accurately predict the length of time until completion. You will be kept up to date with progress throughout the case by your Dynamic Claims advisor.
Q. Does it matter how long ago my accident happened?
Yes, generally, you have three years from the date of your accident to make a claim. If the accident happened prior to your 18th birthday, you still have three years to claim from when you turn 18. There are other exceptions to this three-year rule, which your Dynamic Claims advisor can explain to you in full.
Q. I am not sure if I have a genuine claim.
Dynamic Claims assess each claim on an individual basis. If you don't have a case we will tell you. It is not in your interest or ours to proceed with a case we do not feel will be successful. A Simple Claims advisor will happily discuss your case free of charge and with no obligation.
Q. How will I have to prove the accident wasn't my fault?
Our fully trained Client Advisers will discuss the circumstances of your accident with you. At that time we will assess whether there is an identifiable negligent third party and if so will accept your claim.
Q. Will my case really cost me nothing?
Dynamic Claims claimants are covered by a conditional fee agreement ("No-win, No-fee"). This will cost you nothing. Your Dynamic Claims advisor will explain this process during your initial consultation.
Q. Is there a penalty if I withdraw my claim early?
If our lawyers advise you that your claim is unlikely to succeed; you may withdraw and pay nothing. However, if you decide not to proceed for reasons of your own, you may be billed for all charges incurred on your behalf.
Q. Do I have to travel to my solicitor's office?
No, Dynamic Claims can visit you. Alternatively we can deal with your claim entirely by telephone, post or e-mail at your convenience. Your Dynamic Claims advisor will happily explain the various processes.
Q. Will I have to attend a medical?
Yes. In the cases where it is appropriate, Dynamic Claims will book a medical examination with an independent doctor. This appointment will be local and booked around your availability; travel expenses can be added as part of your claim.
Q. How much compensation could I expect?
This varies on the independent medical report. We will always try to offer a professional opinion of how much your claim is worth but cannot guarantee the outcome.

Q. What if my claim fails?
You will not have to pay us for our costs or disbursements. Win or lose, you will not have a penny to pay
Q. Will I need to go to court?
Very few cases end up in court. This is because lawyers are encouraged to try and settle cases without the need for a trial. We do our very best to ensure that if we think it is in your best interest, to reach a settlement without a trial.
Q. What will happen if my car is a write off?
If your car is written off as a result of an accident that was not your fault we can help. We will arrange for a replacement vehicle to be provided to you. Provided you do not have access to a replacement vehicle yourself or you can replace your vehicle from funds available to you we aim to keep you in the replacement vehicle until you receive and bank a cheque from the third party’s insurance company.
